I can’t count how many times friends, family, and colleagues have asked me, “Where do you find the time to do all the community work you do? Where do you get all your energy?!”
I always have the same answer- I do not consider it “work”, I sincerely love and believe in the power of community.
For years I have helped shape policy through my civic involvement- from my neighborhood, to our city, to state-wide.
I’ve worked with neighbors to convert vacant, blighted lots into a flourishing community gardens.
I’ve marched with CeaseFire Cincinnati to rally against gun violence.
I’ve rallied calling for the passage of the Jobs act to bring more jobs to Cincinnati.
And so much more…
I have been extremely fortunate to have learned community-building and advocacy from the best, and I have taken these lessons and have become a formidable advocate in my own right. That is why I am asking for your vote on November 5th to represent you on City Council.
